Garden Party
Sara and Doreen organised a lovely garden party at Doreen's home on Sunday July 31st. Guests enjoyed a glass of Pimms, tea/coffee and delicious cakes. There were plenty of stalls to keep visitors entertained: a raffle; tombola; usbourne books; jewelley; plants; cards + prints from Saltmarshe and a bric and brac stall. The weather was kind and we all had a relaxing time in good company. Just over £400 was raised for the group and many thanks are due to Sara, Doreen and helpers for all the time spent in organising and running the event. Well done!!

Fundraising Wedding Celebration
Newly married couple Emma and John Brodrick got more than they bargained for at their wedding reception on August 6th. Ladies (and a young man of the HHLG) Ann, Clare, Gill, Jane, Liz, Richard, Jacqui and Sian acted as waiting staff at the wedding breakfast. It was a beautiful day and we wish the young couple a wonderful life together. A donation was made by the proud parents and tips given by the guests raised over £300 for HHLG.
