Our annual bowling and picnic day was held on the 7th May this year. This was a bit of a tall order, as many of our helpers had only returned from Lourdes a just week before. As always, though, they made it a fantastic day for all our guests.

We took 25 guests out for the day. There were some usual faces and some new faces as well. After meeting at 11:30am we went for an hour's bowling. The scores were fantastic and there were many strikes and spares. And the guests put the helpers to shame!!!!

After bowling we headed off for our picnic. As the weather was slightly changeable we decided to eat under the awning of the Senedd building. The picnic was great. The cakes were seriously tasty!!!!

The weather started to brighten up, so when the picnic was over we decided to head off to the field opposite and have a bit of a kick about and a play in the park.

At 4pm we headed back to the Red Dragon Centre for our guests to be picked up.
